EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform
Each strategy runs in its own container, fed by dedicated market-data and trade-data channels.
Overview
EXO runs trading algorithms in isolated containers. Each strategy receives its own market-data and trade-data channels and is backed by online and historical market-data stores, so strategies run side by side without interfering with each other.
The EXO core manages market data, orders through REST and real-time socket connections, while the container runtime handles status, messaging and the routing of market data and trades.
Running several trading algorithms on shared infrastructure is risky: one faulty strategy can disrupt the others. Isolation, dedicated data and clean routing are what make algorithmic trading manageable.
How it works
Capabilities
Containerized strategies
Each algorithm runs in its own container.
Dedicated channels
Per-algorithm queues for market data, orders and trades.
Online and historical data
Strategies backed by both data stores.
REST order management
Orders managed through REST interfaces.
Socket management
Real-time socket connections managed by the core.
Routing
Market-data and trade routers in the runtime.

Works with
Shared foundations
- Role-based access control, segregation of duties and maker-checker approvals
- Complete audit trails across financial and administrative actions
- Encryption in transit and at rest, secure APIs, monitoring and operational logging
- Deployment in your data centre, private cloud, locally hosted, managed or hybrid, chosen module by module
Questions about EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform
What is EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform?
Each strategy runs in its own container, fed by dedicated market-data and trade-data channels. EXO runs trading algorithms in isolated containers. Each strategy receives its own market-data and trade-data channels and is backed by online and historical market-data stores, so strategies run side by side without interfering with each other.
What problem does EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform solve?
Running several trading algorithms on shared infrastructure is risky: one faulty strategy can disrupt the others. Isolation, dedicated data and clean routing are what make algorithmic trading manageable.
Who is EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform built for?
EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform is built for institutions running algorithmic trading strategies.
Which OTS products does EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform work with?
EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform works with Order Management System (OMS), OTX Trading Engine and ERM Risk Management.
Can EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform be deployed in our own infrastructure?
Yes. OTS products can be deployed in your own data centre, in a private cloud, in a locally hosted environment, as a managed service where regulation permits, or as a hybrid, chosen module by module.
How can we start with EXO Algorithmic Trading Platform?
Most engagements start with a half-day discovery session, followed by a demonstration on scenarios that look like yours and a scoped pilot with a fixed timeline of 30 to 90 days.
